Hirschmann™ HiSecOS 2.0 for enhanced ease of use and security

The new Hirschmann Security Operating System (HiSecOS) Version 2.0 gives customers a greater level of insight into network data communication as well as the ability to more easily create network routes and connect to multiple sites securly.

Similar to previous versions, HiSecOS 2.0 is exclusively developed with Hirschmann’s multi-port firewalls, the EAGLE20-0400 and EAGLE30-0402, in mind – to increase overall network performance and offer more robust security features. Due to ruggedized design, EAGLE firewall products with HiSecOS 2.0 operate in various harsh industrial environments, including automotive, power transmission and distribution, oil and gas and mining.

Simpler network configuration

Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) dynamic routing protocol allows for the set up of network routes without any manual configuration.
Safer remote Connections

Virtual Private Network (VPN) communication makes it possible to connect securely multiple different sites using corporate networks or the internet.
Protection against unwanted network traffic

Intrusion Detection System (IDS) enables analysis of ambiguous traffic to detect issues and prevent replication.
